Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
Its Sunday again, and I’m back with another really easy healthy recipe. This week has been so busy and so quick that I just needed to take Sunday slow and indulge in a little comfort food. I mean isn’t that what Sundays are for?
I don’t need to say much about this recipe as the pics speak for themselves but who’s ready for a DIRTY AMERICAN BBQ WING?? MEEEEE!
To make the batter you need to mix the flour, paprika, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, chilli, 1 tablespoon liquid smoke and the almond milk. Whisk this aggressively to make sure you have a thick smooth batter that will cover all the nooks and crannies of the cauliflower. Dunk those florets into the batter and lay them out on a baking sheet that is covered in baking parchment or heavily greased. DO NOT THROW AWAY ANY LEFTOVER BATTER.
Bake these nuggets of goodness for 20 minutes on 180 degrees then flip over and bake for another 20.
Whilst these are in the oven you need to mix the BBQ sauce and other tablespoon of liquid smoke into any leftover batter you have. Cover each cauliflower floret in the BBQ mixture and place back in the oven for 15 mins.
There you have it, crispy, sticky, dirty wings that are literally the PERFECT Sunday indulgence. Your so welcome 🙂
